Impulses and practical examples for the transformation of the wiring harness industry

On June 18, 2026, ARENA2036 invites you to the event Ü:MO 2026 – Innovation through collaboration to Stuttgart. The day offers insights into current research and industry projects that demonstrate how future technologies are jointly developed and put into practice.

The Wiring Harness Transformation Hub will also be represented with its own Technology Session. The focus will be on current initiatives driving the transformation of wiring harness production from manual manufacturing to digitally networked, automated, and more sustainable processes.

Among other things, the following will be presented:

• the Robotics Challenge 2026 with a focus on automated wiring harness assembly,
• the "Green On-Board Network" with approaches to sustainable transformation

The session will show how research and industry are working together on solutions and what participatory opportunities companies can use in the transformation hub for cable sets.
