Climate change, regulatory requirements and growing expectations for transparency in the supply chain require sound environmental assessment methods. Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) according to ISO 14040/44 enables the precise quantification of environmental impacts and supports companies in identifying optimization potential.

Practical insights based on a current LCA study on automotive wiring harnesses
Communication of the most important impact categories: greenhouse gas potential, acidification, primary energy consumption and resource requirements
Consideration of the entire value chain – from raw material extraction to recycling (cradle-to-cradle)
Working with common LCA software (e.g. openLCA) and databases (e.g. ecoinvent)
