The Wiring Harness Transformation Hub has a very special offer for interested experts in the wiring harness industry at automatica 2023. In order to bring robotics and wiring harnesses closer together, we are organizing a guided tour to selected, highly innovative providers of robotics technologies. These either show applications that already have a direct connection to the wiring harness industry. Or they present technologies that have the potential to be used in the wiring harness industry in the future. However, all stations have one thing in common - they show the extraordinary potential of new approaches in robotics, which also offer new perspectives in wiring harness production.
The guided tour takes place on June 29.6th at the automatica in Munich and lasts a total of about 5 hours. It includes 8 stops at both large robotics manufacturers and smaller specialized companies and start-ups. Below you will find an overview of the selected companies and the innovations that will be presented:
- The approaches of intrinsic, the robotics software and AI subsidiary of Google parent company Alphabet, where an intelligent robotics platform is being developed that brings modern software such as object orientation and visual programming to the automation industry, enabling non-experts to use advanced robotics and AI. To the exhibitor profile of intrinsic
- Kuka presents automation approaches for the automatic assembly of the wiring harness. The focus is on simplified programming, sensitive robotics and vision & sensor toolkit. To the exhibitor profile of Kuka
- The servo-electric gripping modules from Weiss Robotics with sensorless gripping force control, integrated gripping part detection and monitoring and free positioning are all-rounders and an answer to requirements such as different cable cross-sections or connector applications. To the exhibitor profile of Weiss Robotics
- Micropsi has developed an AI control system for the cameras and sensors used by industrial robots, which enables eye-hand coordination in real time and thus takes cable handling to a new level. To the exhibitor profile of Micropsi
- Neura Robotics extends the capabilities of collaborative robots with cognitive skills so that they can work together with humans in existing environments without complex safety systems. Maira is equipped with an AI-controlled 3D vision sensor. Exhibitor profile of Neura Robotics
- ArtiMinds presents a robot exhibit for sensor-supported assembly of cables into a connector housing. The smart programming software ArtiMinds RPS enables the greatly simplified creation of highly adaptive robot programs. To the exhibitor profile of ArtiMinds
- The robots of robominds see, feel, learn and apply - thanks to advanced AI algorithms based on a modular platform for process intelligence that operates on the basis of real artificial intelligence. To the exhibitor profile of robominds
- fanuc shows Lightweight robots for collaborative operation with integrated vision and integrated sensors for human-robot collaboration that can be used, for example, in wiring harness assembly. To the exhibitor profile of Fanuc
Exceptional know-how is presented at all stations, showing the great advances that have recently been made in robotics. With their products and innovations, all stations also address issues in the wiring harness industry in order to provide starting points for the implementation of solutions in wiring harness production and its components. The tour thus integrates a comprehensive knowledge base about the current state of the art.
The tour is aimed particularly at interested experts from the wiring harness industry with the aim of bringing them together and networking with experts from the fields of robotics and automation. The tour not only provides valuable technical input but also space for personal exchange between participants over lunch.
We look forward to your interest with our partners, Messe München and VDMA Robotic and Automation, who make this offer possible. Please use the form below to register.
