On May 7 and 8, 2025, the wiring harness community met in Ludwigsburg for the 13th Automotive Wiring Harness Conference – one of the most important meeting places for experts from OEMs, the supplier industry, technology, and research. We from the Wire Harness Transformation Hub were also there as exhibitors – right in the middle of the exchange on the most pressing topics surrounding the wiring harness. In addition to exciting specialist presentations, there was plenty of room for personal dialogue – whether at the get-together in the Reithaus or directly at the booth. At the end of the conference, Georg Sterler, long-time Chair and former Head of Wiring Harness Development at Audi, symbolically handed over the baton to Dr. Rainer König. With his inspiring closing speech, König emphasized once again that Innovation in on-board power systems is more important than ever in times of electrification and complexity.
For us as a transformation hub, this means: We embrace the fresh ideas and drive forward concrete projects together with OEMs, suppliers, and research partners – especially in the area of manufacturing automation.
We look forward to the next steps – and of course to seeing you again at the Bordnetzkongress 2026!
