In the lecture "Unique items and customer-specific special requests - examples for the production of complex textiles" by Prof. Dr. Claus-Ekkehard Koukal from the University of Applied Sciences in Hof, a Technology in fabric and braid production In particular, open-reed weaving and braiding were discussed as promising ideas and technology approaches that can have a significant impact on cable harness production.

This technology not only enables complex thread routing, but also opens the door to comprehensive and efficient customization down to batch size 1.
