Sustainability is one of the current megatrends in society and industry and does not stop at the development, production, use and recycling of wiring harnesses. The key questions include topics such as: How can the CO2 footprint of wiring harnesses be reduced? For which components can recycled or bio-based materials be used? How can wiring harnesses be designed and integrated in a way that is easy to disassemble? How can the material mix be reduced in order to increase recycling rates?
