The technology "Conductive Plastics" and their electrical contact were carried out as part of the trend outlook on June 15, 2023 in the Transformation Hub Wiring Harness by Ms. Klara Wiegel from the University of Kassel / FSG. The conductive plastics presented offer innovative solutions for a wide range of applications, especially in wiring harnesses. Their potential extends from the electrical/electronic architecture (E/E architecture) to the vehicle electrical system, including structural components, exterior and interior areas, and the drive train. Particular attention is paid to the application-specific adaptation and optimization of electrical contact resistances. These findings open up promising prospects for the further development and broader application of conductive plastics in various technological sectors.
