Automated Driving Level 4 for Trucks

Integration of automated driving functions into vehicle architecture

ATLAS-L4 – funding project for automated trucks

The technology "Automated Driving Level 4 for Trucks" aims to address specific challenges in the truck sector and to integrate automated driving functions efficiently and safely into the existing vehicle architecture. This is done by taking into account both the electrical and electronic architecture and the on-board network, in particular by developing a wiring harness for a test vehicle. The technology presented underlines the need for innovative adaptations to meet the increasing demands of automated driving.

Mr. Matthias Korte from Leoni presented this technology as part of the trend outlook on June 15, 2023  in the Transformation Hub Cable Set. The focus was on the ATLAS-L4 funding project, which focuses on the implementation of automated driving at level 4 for trucks.
