In the course of the project, information will be collected about universities that work on topics relevant to wiring harnesses. The Wiring Harness Transformation Hub will collate this information via the relevant chairs and will ask about very specific characteristics in this context, from the location to the chair holder to the research focus. The Wiring Harness Transformation Hub would like to make this collected information transparent and make it available to the entire wiring harness industry. To this end, the contacts will be processed and presented in a research map, which will provide a good overview of the players at a scientific level.

On the industry side, the Transformation Hub Cable Harness also collects information about companies in the industry. Of course, all stages of the value chain are taken into account - from the OEM to the assembler and component manufacturer to machine and software suppliers. Here, too, the information is integrated into an industry directory, which is displayed using a map and other filter functions.

This industry information is filled in by the Transformation Hub Leitungssatz. In addition - and this is an important and more important part - companies have the opportunity to actively register there.
